According to Muppet Wiki, "Herry is a Sesame Street monster who doesn't know his own strength. He first appeared on Sesame Street Season 2 (1970-71) replacing the 'Beautiful Day Monster.' In his first appearances, Herry's nose was covered with light blue fur. Later, during the second season, he gained a non-furry blue nose, which was replaced by his signature purple nose in 1971. The original Herry puppet was also used for the 'Big Bad Wolf.' His family consists of a mother, a father, a grandmother, and a sister named Flossie, seen in several storybooks. Herry is also known for appearing in illustrations and some merchandise wearing white pants with pink stripes, but in some illustrations by Tom Cooke, Cooke usually draws Herry in purple pants with orange spots. He now rarely plays a prominent role but he still makes occasional appearances in new episodes."

Jerry Nelson (1970-2003)
Peter Linz (2015-present)

 Alternate Performers:
