According to Muppet Wiki, "Big Bird is America's most famous eight-feet and two-inch
yellow bird since Sesame Street premiered in 1969. He helps children feel all right about not knowing everything because
he himself does not know everything. He has so many talents such as roller-skating, ice-skating, drawing, writing poetry
and even riding on a unicycle. He lives in a large nest behind 123 Sesame Street. He has a stuffed bear named
Radar. His best friend is Mr. Snuffleupagus. He even has over 4,000 feathers on his body. When Sesame Street
premiered in 1969, he had clumsy body movements, a high-pitched voice and his feathers appeared more disorganized. Until
in 1970, more feathers were added to his head and his body by Muppet builder Kermit Love."
